T en years down the line from when first designed and created the garden the five newly planted mulberry trees are now impressive, mature specimens lending the garden its essential character.
Banked beds of ornamental grasses inter-planted with flowering perennials provide all year round colour and movement whilst evergreen shrubs give a fundamental structure for winter. The house connects through a courtyard space , bordered with espaliered apple trees around a central pond abundant with marginal iris, clustering water-lilies and flickering goldfish.
A bespoke oak arbour walkway, dripping with wisteria and ornamental grape vines leads to the wildflower meadow. This garden is a child’s wonderland, with hidden mown paths running through the wildflower meadow to our signature grass spiral mound.
This magical adventure continues with the wonderful tree-house and tree-top walkway; the fantastic result of a collaboration with Treehouse Life Ltd and the vision and passion of Paul Cameron.
We understand that three generations so far have enjoyed camping out in this treetop paradise! Weekly maintenance visits mean we have been lucky enough to stay intimately involved in the on-going evolution of this very special garden.
This garden was featured on ITV’s ‘Love Your Garden’ with Alan Titchmarsh on 9th August 2017. You can watch the TV programme online at the ITV website until 8th September 2017.
