Mark designed both the pool and the pool-house for this imaginative new build project in Sussex. The arching stems of stipa gigantea screen the pool – shimmering in the setting sun. This garden is distinguished by its diversity of planting.
Its south facing aspect is perfect for the vibrant, exotic mix of echiums, canna lilies and banana trees whilst arum lilies and ferns are at home around the ponds and water feature of the cool shady corners tucked into the dining courtyard.
This is the garden where our bespoke bench from our 2003 Gold Medal winning Chelsea Garden ‘Microcosm’ has found its home, along with the copper verdigris sculptural wall piece from RHS Tatton.
