Critical to the design would be the creation of intimate space whilst framing the incredible views. A circular motif is echoed throughout the garden. In the radial steps of the walled courtyard garden, the generously proportioned iris lined pond, the raised wildflower banks of the children’s spiral maze as well as the contemporary edge of designer Alex Moore’s corten steel sculptural spheres.
Originally a farmland barn with surrounding land rather than a garden, our clients had embarked upon an extensive renovation project and were keen to create a garden to sit within the expansive surroundings of open farmland and panoramic rolling downlands.
